About this event
Bring up to three household items to be tested. The Humboldt County DHHS Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (CLPPP) will offer free testing of household items for lead, measuring the amount of lead in painted items such as paint chips from pre-1978 homes, toys and small furniture. They can also test for the presence of lead in dishware, imported items, toys and antiques. Look for the booth near Redwood Capital Bank during the last Henderson Center Farmers' Market of the year. Se habla espanol. Contact: 707-298-5393 or LeadPoisoningPrevention@co.humboldt.ca.us; more info at Humboldtgov.org/CLPP.
