A family-friendly Halloween festival at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds, held Oct. 24, 25 and 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy live entertainment (including Dance Scene Studio 11 a.m.-noon and Ferndale Dance 12:00-12:20 p.m.), vendors, food, a pumpkin patch, bounce house/inflatable maze, non-jump-scare spooky mazes and festive music. This is separate from the Scaregrounds haunted attraction: no roaming haunters or scare actors, and lighting/sound are adjusted for a cheerful, all-ages atmosphere.
